It seems that this is not a new or novel issue but that it happens often for many people across the entire range of Razer products.
Sadly I am out of warranty and the swelling was only noticeable as of a couple of months ago which seems better than some have done. Ultimately, I am trying to figure out what is the best thing to do, in terms of replacing the battery as, I cannot even chat to Razer support to get any replacement parts because of the warranty which is now done.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated

We are offering a repair/service for out-of-warranty laptops but you will be subject to diagnostic and repair fees. Do send me the serial number of your laptop via PM, together with the proof of purchase. That way, I can verify its model and assist you accordingly. Don't forget to include a photo showing the swollen battery. Save them via Google Drive, then paste the shareable link to your message. Let's go from there.
