Razer Blade Advanced 15" [Early 2021] - Intermittently getting power | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hey there,

I'm having an issue with my Razer Blade Advanced 15" from early 2021. Everything was alright, without any problem, and suddenly, without doing absolutely anything [not even updating Windows], I encountered this issue that the power is intermittently charging.

Right now, even with it plugged in, it shows that it is on battery.

I checked several outlets and tested a few outside my apartment, but the issue persists.

After encountering this, I've done the following steps:

- Updated windows

- Uninstalled both battery drivers from Device Manager and rebooted the computer.

- Updated Razer Synapse

- Let the battery run out sitting on BIOS, and then I let it charge overnight

Even after doing all these steps, the situation is the same.

Any chance you can help me out on this issue?
This is an example of the issue. Just a few moments ago, it was charging.

While writing this post, I got the intermittent issue:

That's surprising and disappointing at the same, Bombonazo. Were you able to perform the steps from this link? Does the laptop immediately turn off when you unplug the power adapter? Please send me the following so I can check your laptop's specs:

a. Windows Battery Report

• Hit Windows Button + X and select Command Prompt (Admin). This is the quickest way to open the Command Prompt as an administrator.

• Type in and enter: powercfg /batteryreport

Note: This command will create a battery report under C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\battery-report.html or, in Windows versions older than Windows 10, under C:\\Users\\rUsername]

b. BIOS main tab

c. Screenshot of Windows version (Hit Windows + R. Open the Run box with then type winver)
