Let's hope they aren't lying and when

same thing happend on my razer blade 17 2021. im get into the beta group and see what going on,and i brought a brand new 230w oem charger, still same . are u fk seriously razer?

Same issue here, what is going on with razer, people are buying laptops and other products for thousands of dollars and they get this experience.

@garyfed Your’s must be a different issue then. Or maybe just your blade. For us Blade 17 users we can’t even pull 135W or 145w on the GPU or barely anything on CPU. Max we can pull regardless is 40W - 60W Combined Maybe, Regardless of the game , os version, or brick.

I thinkthe chrge is the cause of your issue because you bought it from aliexpress bro its fake

Yes I totally agree. But it was working fine and I had boost before that. Let's consider that the brick is crap, now I'm back 220w. It's running fine and as I explabed above it's ripping fine. But I'm back to the same issue like everybody. There is no custom mode option anymore I'm stuck with "not adequate".

But if sake of troubleshooting take this case as lesson. I had properly working synapce for some time with brick that higher that 220W.

So from what I understood that 280W or 330W original brick can fix the bug. If it's not according to your expirience with 330W original brick, I'm totally confused then. This situation totally suck, because I was thinking getting 330W brick and forget about to this. Now I have e droughts...

Hello everyone, I have a similar problem and I would like to ask, did any of you during that time while playing and only when playing, did the battery charge not get disconnected even when your laptop was plugged in?

I uninstalled Synapse 3 and switched to the new Open Beta and that problem persists but not as constantly as it was before (also like you I got the same message that I'm not getting enough power).
The funny thing is that I can play in Gaming Mode, but I have that problem about the charging port stopping when charging.
I already sent many messages about this issue in forums and Razer Support, but they only told me about buying another adapter, I have not tried but I would like to know if any of you had the same problem as me and if you could solve it before considering buying another charger.

Heres a record i made when i post a ticket here on Razer Support: https://youtu.be/ujeDAWe6afQ?si=c1AyJO4jnXkiv0Et

This is very bad. Because 220W fake brick was rocking fine for some time. If you have issues with 330W then I'm totally lost.

Just wanted to say Hi as Im having the same power problem with my 2021 Blade 14. I tried so many things to solve this issue - as you know, nothing helped yet.

I checked with an other 230W adapter that didnt change anything. So Ill have a look at those bigger bricks. Ill keep you posted.

Cheers!

Nothing new, so far… But I was handed to the next level of support. They’ll get back to me within 48h...

Userlevel 1

All laptops from razer after 2022 were shipped with 280w and 330w. Software now are written for those bricks and giving error if it's less than 280W. This is what I figured out. 230W brick are out of the game and razer want you to buy a new one. That's it.

If I buy a 280w will it work for my 2021 Blade Advance ? I am having major issues now My 240w that my laptop came with isn’t cutting it!

Razer Blade 18 - RMA/Support Issue!

I’m making this post today to hopefully get some help from a higher up person that works for Razer. I’m frustrated beyond belief & don’t know what to do anymore.

2-3 weeks ago my 2023 Razer Blade 18 received an error message in the notification tray saying “More Power Required - The system is not receiving adequate power to perform optimally & the battery may discharge faster or not charge at all”. I then went into Razer Synapse & saw that I was unable to put my laptop into custom mode while plugged in to set my CPU & GPU to High/Boost. You can see that in the picture I have added to this thread.

I then start googling this issue & found that this is a very common issue that Razer knows about but cannot seem to understand or know how to fix. Here is just a few links to people with the same issue:

https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/wz6uq5/system_not_receiving_adequate_power/

https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/x7grag/error_the_system_is_not_receiving_adequate_power/

https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/system-not-receiving-adequate-power-47468

I became worried after reading all these articles as there was no fix & nobody can seem to get help. I called Razer Support & followed their instructions to troubleshoot which was deleting the Battery ACPI from Device Manager & letting the battery charge overnight, factory resetting, updating Synapse, all drivers, & windows to the latest version. None of this worked & they deemed my laptop for an RMA.

THIS IS WHERE IT GETS VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.
I send my laptop to the Razer Repair Team & they run tests on my laptop & say nothing is wrong with my laptop & send it back! I sent videos & pictures of the issue & exactly how to replicate it but they did not care to look into it or follow what I did. They just think running benchmarks & testing my internal components is enough. I received my laptop, set it up, & what do you know.. The same exact issue was present! This has been going on for over 2 weeks now & I am constantly going back & forth with support. There is a simple resolution to this which is to provide me with a replacement 2023 Razer Blade 18. I spent $5,000 on this laptop & it does not perform to high standards as it should. When I first bought the laptop it worked great but I am also very technology competent so if I cannot fix the issue & they cannot then why can a billion dollar company not send me another laptop? Do they not care about their customers enough?

What do I do next?! The only thing I can think of is making multiple forum posts, submitting a BBB report, & CFPB complaint to where the government/bureau steps in.

I spent $5,000 on this laptop & have not even had it for 6 months. I am also under warranty & this is a common issue multiple people have & they are all left with the same unresolved matter as me. How is that right? Please help me get this issue the attention it needs & give advice on what to do. Thank you.

Sorry, 280W fake AliExpress brick. I was thinking to get original 330W but now I have doubts if this will help me now. If this is not the case with your problem.

Im still thinking that there is something to do with Nvidia drivers and Synapce. Probably they have a conflict or something. Before that Synapse had some sort of bypass but something changed and Synapce not over control of power train.

Dear Razer support team !

You god damn imbeciles. There are hundreds if not thousands of people with very expensive laptops from you, who can´t use them appropriatly, because of your own software having issues delivering enough power to the system.

It is definitly a software issue. People all over the world already tried, changing the battery, power bricks etc. That´s not the issue but the software.

Do something, for fucks sake!

Did you send them your pc or what??

I don't have more information about the original charge . When synapse is over control of power plan ? This problem is it old or just a few months ago

I was one of the first who started this thread. So what I did now. I managed to put my power plug under the pressure, under the land cable and I have a boost mode now. So probably brick with higher votlage should fix the Isssue. Because I have cheap 100 bucks brick and my fans are ripping now. So probably it's not the best solution to buy a fake brick but it gets the job done. The problem is the build quality. The plug is too hot now but I'm getting 150w on GPU.

Make the photo of funky UI of Synapse will look strange for you. I just entered the Synapse beta group. Just want to tell you right away that this is not the case, the only difference I've noticed that there is smart battery health settings are missing. Original brick still was giving power error.

Don’t know if this helps anyone but make sure you are running your laptop without any docks or anything that might have power-through USB-C - and only run your laptop on the Razer Charger. (to troubleshoot)

I’m dealing with the same problem and have the latest updates, but I noticed I was getting this issue for two reasons:

  1. Either the laptop is deciding the USB-C is primary for power supply...or
  2. There is an issue with the charger/connection

After quite a few tries where the laptop did not recognise the charger even though everything pointed at it being in working order I got it to connect/charge constantly (so far) but when it gets to 100% windows keeps switching the icon from “on battery” to “Plugged in” and I can see the key lights reacting to that (so not just an animation issue). *Windows11

**by got it to connect I mean simple stuff. Left the battery to drain a bit and then charged it from the USB-C after which I performed a couple of restarts on both my OS that are on the machine.

I'm having similar issues, beta synapse removes the error but doesn't add the performance option, just balanced, silent, and custom.

Yeah guys, disregard the beta version. Is far you can see, more powerful brick does the job. If you have 280 or 330 then I'm lost. In my case it works. As far you can see a bit handycap mode but I got the proof.

@garyfed send us the link for the brick that you got that fixed it. Also what do you mean by this

edit I thought I had it resolved. But it started occuring again.

@garyfed can you also link me to ur thread as I cannot find it

Curious, if functioning properly should there be a gaming permormance mode option as well when plugged in?

There is boost for CPU in custom tab. That's it. Last photo shows everything

I think it's the same where we at now.

Check images, looks like my connector giving issues. Maybe it's been under the head too long is it's loosing the connection when not under the load in terms of small twist. Look at the image when power plug are under the LAN cable.

That's the one I've got. But I'm afraid the Razer now will buy the same one and will try to limit the power thru software, lol.

I don't trust those guys anymore. I'll never going to update anymore.
