Razer Synapse not connected to the internet even though my computer is. That is making my mouse's macros not work. Of course it is hard to know for certain if that is the case but I don’t see anything else being wrong.
Given the BIG AMOUNT of problems that synapse 4 has, specially with my Tartarus pro, I mistankely trusted on the new version Synapse 4 and now I MUST return to synapse 3 to preserve my previous functionality, how can I return to that version? I cannot see a place to download synapse 3 installer for windows, any ideas?
I've already reinstalled it and even tried using Windows Task Scheduler, but the issue persists every time. Once I click that 'Not Responding' button and the Synapse app launches, it connects normally again. However, it's really cumbersome and inconvenient to have to manually do this every time. Is there any way to fix this
Hello.I'd like to suggest a feature for Synapse 4 regarding the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz.I also own a Razer BlackShark V3 Pro headset. On the headset, the physical volume wheel controls both audio devices at the same time: Razer BlackShark V3 Pro - Game Razer BlackShark V3 Pro - Chat This works perfectly. However, on the Huntsman V3 Pro keyboard, the volume wheel only controls the Game (by default in the system) channel. The Chat channel is completely unaffected. This is inconsistent — both are Razer peripherals with volume wheels, but they behave differently. My request:Please add a "Game+Chat (sync)" mode for the Huntsman V3 Pro volume wheel in Synapse 4, so it can control both channels simultaneously, just like the BlackShark V3 Pro headset does. This would make volume control much more convenient and consistent across Razer devices. Thanks!
I have a few macro keys set up with button combos that include the windows-key that, naturally, don’t work when the windows-key is disabled like it is when gaming mode is turned on, so I have made sure to keep gaming mode off even when I’m in game, but in spite of that the windows-key, and therefore the aforementioned macros still don’t work when I have a game loaded up. I’ve double checked that gaming mode is still disabled when I have a game running which it definitely is, I have Razer Synapse open on my second monitor and a game on my primary monitor and I see very clearly that gaming mode is off, both the toggle for the mode itself and the “Apply in-game only” box un-checked, but the windows-key and macros still don’t want to work when playing a game. Is there a way to fix this on my end or is it just a case of Razer having fucked up and I’ll have to pointlessly wait for them to do something about it?Any and all help with this would be greatly appreciated!
Hello,I have just installed Razer Synapse 4, I had the 3 before, and now it refuses to install the drivers for my devices, it downloads in a loop, any idea how to adjust it ? and if I stop the infinite download and it refuses to start again

razer synapse 4 i download it and press launch but the crosshair loads for 1 sec and nothing happen i just got new razer mouse and i can use it because software problems (:
I have made some screen-shots to make it easier to explain to me, because I have no idea what to do.
I am experiencing a critical issue with Razer Synapse 4 where the software completely refuses to write or apply any custom configurations, macros, or keyboard rebinds down to my wired Razer DeathAdder V3.When I assign a macro (e.g., an automated "E" key loop) or a basic keyboard function directly to Mouse Button 4, Synapse 4 visually displays the change as saved and linked on my monitor. However, the physical hardware continues to act strictly as standard Mouse Button 4, ignoring the profile. Here is everything I have checked and done to isolate the issue:Verified that the Macro module is fully installed and up to date under the Synapse 4 "Devices & Modules" management dashboard. Checked active Windows background processes: RzActionSvc (Razer Central Service) and companion engine assets are running normally. Cleared local app configurations by deleting both the %localappdata%\Razer and %appdata%\Razer temporary profile cache folders to resolve any corrupted migration states. Execute
I was attempting to organize macros into folders and once I click on a folder within a folder the entire macro tab turns grey. It won’t properly show the macro tab again until I close is and reopen it. However, now I cannot see any of the macros I’ve placed into the folders. Before clicking the folder:Here is what it looks like after I click the folder:Please advise on how to fix.

I tested.## SummaryI have identified a fully reproducible regression in Synapse 4 affecting both the Tartarus V2 and Tartarus Pro.When the D-Pad is configured as **8-Way**, pressing any D-Pad direction while **HyperShift** is active causes the D-Pad to ignore its configured bindings and instead generate the default Arrow Key inputs. This issue does **not** occur when the D-Pad is configured as **4-Way**.The exact same hardware and workflow worked correctly in Synapse 3.---## Environment* Windows 11* Synapse Version: **4.0. [removed by moderator] *** Guest Mode (not signed in to a Razer account)* Clean installation using the official Razer Driver Clean-up Tool* Default profile only (no imported or cloud-synchronized profiles)Devices tested:* Tartarus V2* Tartarus ProThe issue is reproducible on both devices.---## Steps to Reproduce1. Install Synapse 4.2. Launch Synapse in Guest Mode.3. Configure the D-Pad as **8-Way**.4. Set **every D-Pad direction** on both the Normal layer and the Hype
I’ve been using Synapses since back in 2012 when it was 2 & used it all the way up to the point when it was no longer being supported & you had to use 3 or 4.one the features that 2 had was that if you had multiple programs open & you had a profile for each program, that as you clicked over to the other program, Synapse would recognise that you clicked over to a different program & automatically switch the profile over, it even displayed in green text in the lower right corner of your primary monitor the program it just switched over to. using 4, there doesn’t seem to be any such functionality or any setting to do that (or is there, i’m i’m just missing it?)It is getting old having to manually switch back & forth, every few minutes, if there is this setting, can someone please provide instructions on where this setting is… but if the function is currently not available in 4, can you dev’s please put it back?
When I open chroma and try to customize it doesn’t work, when I select and try to click a color, it has prohibited/ no entry sign.
Why can’t I add a mouse sensitivity stage? In Synapse 3, I could add as many sensitivity stages as I liked. There was a button to add another one, and it worked great.I went to add a stage to the profile I use for FPS games (as there was only 2) and all I could do was re-arrange them. That’s pretty pointless. If I add a new profile there’s 5 stages shown but, again, no option to add any.Why is this software consistently annoying me when I want to do something. There’s so many things that should be easy to do (e.g., create a macro to change active profile on multiple devices at the same time) that are just infuriatingly impossible.Synapse 4 is definitely a step backwards in terms of usability. Half the time it doesn’t event register my mouse/keyboard/Tartarus Pro unless I stop and restart all Razer apps. Even then it’s a 50/50 chance of things working properly
The Razer Synapse 4 app just bugs out when attempting to configure the Razer Pro Type Ergo Keyboard’s programmable knob (right knob). You click any of the settings and immediately the software’s interface wipes all elements on the screen but the background color which is gray. See attached. I am in a Windows 11 environment, have tried uninstalling, running the razer driver cleanup tool, reinstalling 4 times with the same issue. Also yes, the Ergo keyboard is running the latest up to date firmware. Are owners of this keyboard able to reproduce? Thanks,
Greetings, since I started using Razer Synapse 4, and unrelated to living in Türkiye, I've been experiencing issues with the macro section. Previously, I could set delays like 0.002, but after adding a period (.), it started directly printing 0. This was resolved by changing the decimal point grouping and the decimal symbol to a period (.) or comma (,) in the additional region settings in Windows' region settings. Today, when I tried to create macros again, the same problem occurred, even though it was happening yesterday. This is really frustrating me. I kindly request that the administrators allow me to create delays here like in the Synapse 3 macro system. Otherwise, I'll go crazy. I need these macros for my work, but I can't seem to figure it out. Please help!
Hi there, posting this because the usual “clean reinstall / use the Razer cleaner / check services” advice did not fix anything.Issue:Razer Synapse 4 stopped loading correctly on Windows startup. The Razer tray/container starts, but Synapse itself does not fully launch. Opening Razer manually shows that Synapse is not running or only partially initialized. What I already tried: Full uninstall of the Razer package Razer cleaner tool Fresh reinstall Windows Fast Startup disabled Razer Elevation Service set to Automatic for testing Task Scheduler delayed startup None of that fixed the real issue. What the logs show: RazerAppEngine.exe is running. RzEngineMon.exe is running. Razer services are running. Synapse installer log shows “installation complete.” But launching only RazerAppEngine.exe starts the tray/container, not the actual Synapse module. The important finding:Razer’s own launcher log shows Synapse is supposed to be started with:--url-params=apps=synapseWhen I run
Hi everyone,I’m posting this because I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue with Razer Synapse 4 and the Razer Kraken V3 Pro. For almost a year, I have been dealing with an audio-related issue on my Kraken V3 Pro. After trying many possible fixes, I have found that the problem only happens when Razer Synapse is installed and running. When Synapse is removed or you disable audio signal enhancements ( video example, at the end ), the issue disappears. The main problem is that volume changes are delayed across the whole system. When I lower or increase the volume, the actual audio level does not change immediately. Instead, the volume change is applied after around 1–4 seconds. This happens when changing volume through:Windows volume slider Spotify volume slider Other app volume controlsThe audio itself is not delayed. Only the volume adjustment is delayed. This becomes very annoying and sometimes painful because when a notification plays or a new audio source star
If you have problems:BSOD randomly due to kernel level issues. Any browser web pages crashing with SYSTEM_ACCESS_VIOLATION error. Any programs (especially games) may be random crashed without a specific reason. And also:Laptop with intel cpu 13th or 14th gen. Any updates for system / firmware / drivers / programs - not solved issue. System tools dism / sfc / chkdsk and RAM memory scans - not found any problem. Then most likely next actions will help you fix these problems. TL;DR:Install Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (only Windows 10+). Go to "Advanced View", then to "Advanced Tuning". Set "Performance Core" values so that the panel on the right displays the values as in the screenshot for the underlined parameters, and click "Apply".That's all you need to fix it. Don't be afraid to change the values; the new parameter value will be highlighted, letting you know if it's the right one. They won't be applied until you click "Apply." You can also completely undo all changes by returning to "C
I would like to report a reproducible issue with the Razer Tartarus Pro on Synapse 4. After a cold boot, the Tartarus Pro fails to output default keyboard binds and custom keyboard binds. The device is still detected by Synapse 4, profile switching appears to work, and macros can still work. Keyboard-output binds do not function until the Tartarus Pro is unplugged and reconnected. The issue appears to occur when the previous shutdown was initiated using Windows shutdown.exe with a timeout value greater than zero, for example: shutdown /s /t 60 Microsoft documents that when the shutdown timeout period is greater than 0, the /f parameter is implied. Microsoft also documents /f as forcing running applications to close without warning users. The issue does not appear to occur when using a full shutdown with no timeout, for example: shutdown /s /t 0Windows commands - shutdownThis suggests the issue may be related to Synapse 4 or the Tartarus Pro driver stack not handling Windows forced app
someday i installed razer synapse 4. it was perfectly working for over a half year. one day my hedephones razer blackshark v2 didnt connect to the pc(they were working but i couldnt change setting). after some time synapse stoppped opening. i delete all files connected to the razer and set my pc to factory setting(with all my files). i reinstalled synapse and it still doesnt open. i did all things from guide on youtube and it didnt help. my website version of synapse also doesnt see my devices(basilisk v3 and blackshark hyperspeed v2)
Razer Synapse 4 just randomly crashed on my PC a few days ago, and since then, no matter how many times i reinstall it, it crashes on launch every time, and i think it is because it doesn't have the services that it needs to work. It only ever installs the Razer Elevation Service, and I think it cant install them because it can't get the services package from assets.razer.com, or something. It also just doesn't install the C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer\Razer Services\ folder on my PC. Does anyone having a working synapse 4 installation and has this folder so i can install it through cmd or powershell? Maybe through google drive or something.
