I got this device last week. the RTx 2060. Its able to run COD war zone in normal settings at around 100 fps. I undervolted the cpu to about -150 mv even though it came undervolted from the factory. A few thinsg i wanted to ask other owners of this laptop...When the fan is at full speed does it make a higher pitch whining sound? Also, how easy is it to open the lid...mine is quiet hard and i need to use both hands.

I am going to but it, can any one advise where i can find it in Dubai

Amazon?
It's not. That's why they replaced it.
Okay, you wrote support here with Razer. What are they saying? It's not supposed to be normal. I mean, to the extent of you.

can it be, since the background lighting is adjusted by Razer, that it is wanted depending on the image? So here in the forum or while watching movies it is not noticeable, but when booting you can see that the illumination is not 100%, but with the desktop wallpaper or the same, it is 100% again.

The backlight bleed on the replaced model was noticeable while booting, at desktop and in games.

Does anyone have the BOE display? My replacement unit has this. I have read about PWM but for me the BOE display has better colours, is brighter and much less backlight bleed.
What's the issue with the BOE panel?
Guys... I got my second RBP yesterday. The first had horrible backlight bleed (left device at first Photo). I received the right one and found the Bleeding acceptable. Then today also the second one "developed" the same horrible bleeding as well (photo 2). This cannot be normal right? Why does the bleeding get worse after two days?

Hey guys, sorry for the ignorance I am just trying to figure something out. Does the Razer Blade Pro 17 come with a RTX 2080 or only a RTX 2080 Max Q. I am assuming the RTX 2080 is more powerful the R RTX 2080 Max Q.

It’s rtx2080 maxq with apparently 100tdp gpu not as good as rtx2080 full that using 180Watt or 200 watt (I believe due cooling room and portability), to push full fat 2080 power demand you hate to use two bulky AC adapter like on Alienware Area 51m. However it’s top on 2080maxq (some maxq use 80watt or 90 watt tdp) better than Blade 15 2080 maxq and putting it around same performance with full fat rtx2070 mobile (non maxq)...well nowadays naming is quite confusingo_O

picked up the latest 120Hz UHD it arrived the other day,
it has few issue to iron out, it clearly has potential,

missing bit peripheral support atm,
id like to see an extended stand that fits the 17 unit,
current chroma stand can be used with any unit beside the 17,
the OLED 15 unit i have here fits perfect but not the 17 (its short about an inch to fit :slightly_sad:),

Hi, I am about to get this. How is the laptop doing all these months later?
Any tips before I get it?
Thanks
Anyone here with Blade Pro 2019 1080p 144Hz?

Beautiful Machine! I'm still in love with my 2017 4K. I am wondering!? Can we add the Razer Core X Chroma with a matching 1080 to double the performance, or better yet, the rtx 2080TI ? I would totally utilize this system for work travel!

Joikansai is the 4k120 one hdr10 capable? The old blade pro 4k was not (7820hk gtx 1080). No one at store in sf knows.

hope to own this one day
Great choice sticking around with the i7, i9 would be a total disaster. For me 4k resolution isn't necessary but for that price, it is indeed expensive.

I did buy this super awesome notebook. But everything took a bad turn.

After I started it up and did all the updates, I was finally ready to try some first game.
First start of a game and I received a BSOD. Now follows a colorful choice of all kinds of BSOD messages, driver installs and windows updates, windows resets. Nothing works. Clearly something is wrong with the GPU, because as soon as I start any program which requires some kind of graphic power, the BSODs begin.
While Razer Support T1 was very friendly and patient and covering all the basics, the case was escalated to T2.
I thought: "great, now some serious troubleshooting will start".
The only thing what started was waiting for a reply, which never came! more than a week has passed and no responses even after asking about the status. T1 support kept being friendly, but clearly their limit what they could help was reached.

I endlessly tested scenarios when and how the BSODs show up and it is the GPU. I see three possibilities:
a) the RTX is defective even before install
b) the RTX is not properly connected to the mainboard
c) the power supply is not properly connected to the RTX

Since the problem only occurs when more power is required from the GPU, I am tending to c).
At the moment, I can use the 3.3k Razer Blade Pro 17 to check my e-mails and browse the web.
However, Razer Support keeps ignoring me and no offers of replacement or onsite support are given to me.

I will wait until Monday, if I don´t get a reasonable plan of action how to fix this, I will return the Blade and look for a competitor solution.

This has been a nightmare experience in customer support for me. I bought a super expensive premium product, for which my expectations where very high, and I was very badly disappointed in the product and in the high level support of Razer. Nothing against T1 support, you guys did great.

To all of you who want to buy a Razer Blade Pro 17: Good luck to you that it is not faulty and that you don't need higher level support.

Cheers.
