I am super happy that Razer released this product. It has bugged me that laptop power supplies only charge the laptop. I have been using the Hyper Juice charger lately and will not be going back to single use chargers. Having one charger for all of my devices is fantastic. I also will only buy 100w+ USB-C chargers from now on. I like to be able to plug any USB-C device into a plug and have it work.

I really hope that this becomes the default charger for all of the Razer laptops that charge at 130W or less.

deefseaGaN is the chemical formula for Gallium Nitride. It is a non-Silicon based semiconductor that has several physical and electrical properties that allow for higher efficiency power conversion (like converting 120VAC to 12VDC, 15VDC, or 20VDC as this device does) and smaller, more compact MOSFETs and other semiconductor-based components. The major benefits of it is that it can basically be substituted directly for Silicon in the vast majority of Silicon's current uses with very few negative impacts. When there is a 230 watt version I'll look at it. Right now no need for my blade 15 since it won't be sufficient enough to power the laptop while gaming. Looks like this would only really be good for the Razer book and Razer Stealth.
