Windows Update broke THX Spatial

After a very recent windows update that took a hot bit longer than most updates, THX Spatial has stopped emitting sound, specifically going through this Razer Kraken Kitty headset. Windows still recognizes it as it's own audio device, but upon booting the system up there was no sound nor activity on the windows 'Volume Mixer', until I switched to the default sound device for the headsets without surround sound. I've been checking the small amount of things I know to click on, troubleshoot buttons and trying to update drivers. If anyone has had experience with this presently or in the past I'd love to hear if you have any potential solutions or tips.
