Using the Ultimate Nari mic with AUX

I just bought my very first Razer product, the Ultimate Nari, so I'm fairly new to how it works. Whenever I connect my headset using AUX, Synapse 3 doesn't detect my headset and my laptop doesn't detect the mic. No new devices pop up in my sound control panel. However, the output audio works fine but is detected as one of the speakers in my playback devices. So only the audio works fine. On the other hand, when I use the dongle to connect my headset, it works perfectly fine -- two playback devices (Game and Chat) and the mic gets detected, and my headset pops up in Synapse 3. The mic quality is bad when I use the dongle, so I wanted to find a way to fix it. And I read one thread that said that the mic quality is better when it's wired. I just can't get it detected. I've tried the different solutions I've seen in other threads like reinstalling Synapse 3, rebooting my laptop, ending the processes of Synapse to restart it, etc.
