New to Android and Razer, need info on getting started properly.

So here I am, finally doing the swap. I bought a brand new Razer Phone and am in need of info on getting started properly. I travel a lot and used my HP Elite x3 phone for music, Hands Free Comms and GPS (offline functional required). I am having bluetooth issues and suspect it might be related to Bluetooth aptX codec used by my all 3 car stereos. And suggestions on apps and initial setup updates and procedures for someone new to android?

If you're coming from an X3, you'll be happy to know Here Maps is available and works well. It includes offline maps as well.

Nice, I look forward to using it, but my Bluetooth is giving me trouble.

Return it. The longer I own this phone the more issues it has. Android auto doesn't work and now apps are freezing the phone.

I bought the Razer phone as a way to test the waters, there are a lot of people who have stuck with windows phone for a long time and are looking to find a new home, someone said Razer had a good product and good support. I was going to be making a review of this company and post it on my Windows Central profile, but I am actually quickly becoming unhappy since I cant even get the phone to work in basic hands free.

I've notice android auto is VERY hit or miss with all devices. On my friend's 2019 Odyssey it can work fine on 1 trip and the next trip he has to restart his phone (Motorola i forgot whatsit) or mine (razer phone) and wait for the app to crash on the HU before it'll work again.

So are you saying I have to have "Android Auto" to use the phone in a hands free capacity?

No but in a car that has support for Android auto it makes it easier

Razer Support thinks I have defective hardware. So I am waiting on a reply to my request for a replacement.
