Hey Beta Testers!

Lots of new faces around here, that’s so good to see. Quick reminder that we’ve added a lot of new devices to the beta since we first started. Initially it wasn’t as engaging to participate in the beta for those who weren’t on the initial curated list based on device availability due to the lack of compatible devices. However, more users now can offer their input.

The team is looking for more feedback, so any notes you may have regarding your experience is welcome. Everything from function to design is appreciated. Synapse has to look good on top of feeling good to use. 

Regardless of how you ended up in the closed beta, whether internally from Razer, stumbled in from Reddit or through an invite, please take a moment to provide any and all feedback. Everything is noted during this closed beta process, so anything you have to contribute is valuable.

Having any kind of notification or forum post, anything at all, that indicated whether a new version was available or not would be beneficial to testers. At this point I have no idea if the version I’m using is still 10 months old or if even the “update check” in Razer settings page even does anything.

This is what I mentioned some time ago… changelog. It’ll be awesome if such thing will exist

It doesn’t seem like the update function works in app. I have manually updated recently but have no idea how long ago the build was released.

It works. For me there was update icon in synapse (down arrow) on the left side of nine dot icon (more) and settings. But I don’t think that there were any notification about this. Still we need some better way to inform about new updates and what’s inside (what’s changed/improved).

Hey any chance the Blade 16 is going to be added to the list of supported devices anytime soon?

New here, thanks for accepting my request for testing. Can’t wait to install the app in the morning. The only device I’m missing is Razer Kraken Tournament Edition, I hope this gets it’s way on the list soon. Looking forward to see how the UI of the app looks like.

I would love to be more active in the beta community, but I can’t run this as my daily driver since it doesn't support my Leviathan V2; which is the main sound source for my rig. I think my Kraken V3 Pro headset is supported, but I didn’t test it after I noticed it lacks support for the soundbar.

The beta supports the Leviathan V2 Pro, so I am hoping it won’t take much for my system to be compatible. I’m just waiting for the update that supports my hardware then I will be happy to test more. I would LOVE an update on when the next version will be out.

I’ve just joined the beta and luckily all my hardware is supported. However, there are a couple of known issues which I think I would find too intrusive in daily use. The Known Issues post says it will be updated frequently, but it is dated from a year ago and doesn’t give any indication that it has been edited. Will issues get marked as fixed once fixed?

Hello everyone,

 

Sorry if this is not the place to post, but I just created an account by logging in with my FB account, however it automatically assigned me a strange username(probably auto generated) that I don’t know how to change. Nothing about it that I could see in my account settings. 

Could you please give me some pointers on how to change it? Or if an admin sees this, could I please ask him to change it to “BogdanB” “BogdanBB” or add any number after it if any of them are already taken?

When can support be provided for Viper V3 PRO

Light theme. Just give us light theme theme. Also, Fluent Design would be awesome.
