For Discord low chat volume. Please go to Windows Sound Settings from Windows Button. You will see that Headset is like 70 and Discord is like 30. So thats the fix.

For the random disconnects. I deleted Razer Synapse with REVO UNINSTALLER. Delete every log files too. Then download it from Razers website. Don’t use the headset firmware.

I don’t use ULTRA-LOW LATENCY.

NO ANC.

NO AUDIO ENHANCEMENT.

WIRELESS POWER SAVING ON.

On Windows Sounds = Game has Default enhancements.

On Windows Sounds = Chat has NO Enhancements.

On Windows MIC  = Chat has Voice Clarity & Automatic

Had no issues.

Issue with audio loss still happening with the newest firmware update.

The headset costs 250$. Multi million company. Still, they produce 250$ headset that barely unplayable because of this issue. Dickhead and braindead company.

I'm never buying a razer product again. And telling all my friends to stay away. This is crazy I can't believe for the last 11 years they have been known for having the worse software and firmware in the industry but haven't done anything about it in the last 11 years. Truly sad. Use to buy all razer products and recommend them but it just hasn't gotten better and I don't think it ever will. Already replaced my mouse and keyboard. Gunna replace the headset soon

I may of found a solution

I went into the Razer Synapse on PC

Connected my Headset to the Software

In Devices is your headset and click on it

Then go into Sound and scroll all the way down to Game/Chat Balance and put the slider in the middle of game and chat audio

I found out that it always maxed out the chat audio by default when turning on the headset so putting it in the middle should work

this worked for me, thank you man

This "feature" of Razer is not that bad. I troubleshooted those audio poppings, which happens on some devices if you skip for example in a youtube video, for a long time now... but yeah I understand that the fade in/out is also annoying when you already see someone talking in the video and it slowly starts to fade in. :D

Anyway for everyone getting this, here is a workaround that seems to work for me.

  1. Open Sound Settings of Windows (the old one called "Sound")

  2. Go to the "recording" tab and select one of the devices (I recommend steromix which you might have to activate at frist or for example I have "What U Hear" from my soundcard)

  3. Go to the tab "Listen", check "listen to this device" and select the "BlackShark V3 Pro - Game" one..

With this fix there should be always a active device which prevent the razer from fading (which only happens if there is no active device)..

This worked on my V3 (non-pro). I could probably also use SoundKeeper or similar programs to achieve this effect if necessary but this works so why not.

I think there’s also some kind of detection or odd behaviour with regard to Spotify - even when it wasn’t playing any music, but I had recently, scrubbing through a youtube video didn’t have any fade in.  Then a few moments after closing spotify, it returned when scrubbing in youtube. When clicking Play / Pause it didn’t always happen? And I never had problem with e.g. discord notifications. Very odd. I wonder if they’ve got a lot of firmware hack stuff trying to detect when it’s appropriate/inappropriate to use the fade.

Many people talk about sound cutting out gradually, but I have a different issue. When I'm playing games or listening to audio, the sound disappears completely, as if the connection has been severed. There is no voice prompt, and the headphones themselves are still powered on. The only thing that helps is turning the headphones off and on again.
I also get artifacts or some kind of distortion in the playback. It sounds like the worst possible version of a synthesized robot voice.
Can this be fixed? I bought these headphones through a marketplace in Russia, so I think I could return them under warranty.

This is exactly the last and only issue I‘m experiencing with the headset. I haven’t found a fix, the only solution is to turn it off and on again. Super annoying.

@Razer Admin - is anybody working on this? Is this addressed? How can we know?
