First experience using Razer Gold. I bought a $250 PIN/code from target.com(3:54pm EST). I Inputted the PIN within 5 minutes of recieving it (3:58pm) but I got the error code "this PIN has already been redeemed". I instantly submitted a ticket showing screenshots with all proof of puchase, time I recieved the email and the error code with the PIN showing.
I contact support, only for them to tell me the code was redeemned TWELVE (12) hours(4:59am) after I created a ticket, I kept asking how that would be possible for the error code to show for me, then have the SAME code redeemed 12 hours after my ticket was created.
They said my email probably has a cybersecurity issue - which makes zero sense because why wouldn't the code work for me, then work 12 hours later.
For them to even look into it - they said I have a police report. They will not investigate without one. I think I would get laughed out of a Police Station if I went there with this. I am sure the Chief of Police would send his top men on it.
This is beyond frustrating for $250 which is a lot for me,

1.6 / 5 on TrustPilot - now that is something you guy's should be real PROUD of. SO many users with the same exact issue. Why would you even sell these via third party if neither Razer or the third party is responsible? That is not right.
***HAS ANYONE DEALT WITH THIS? - and is there any options for me or recourse. I am beyong frustrated.***

Hi @roadPowderBluegreat856,
I understand your frustration regarding this issue. From my views, you will have to check with the seller your purchased from which is the third party you purchased from.
I went to the website you mentioned target[.]com and searched and looked in the gift card that is being sold on site.
Quite a huge number of reviews mentioning they received invalid code as well.
I highly suggest you to file complain to the website you purchased first instead of local authority for now.

Hi @xCryptik ,
Thanks - I am going to do just that and see what they say.
My confusion is that the PIN (which I received from target.com via email on 11/29 at 3:54pm EST and tried to redeem at 3:58pm, which failed) was apparently redeemed the next day (Razer Support says 11/30 at 4:59am).
Does that make any sense? How could it be redeemed after I tried it, failed, then created a ticket saying it was already redeemed.
This was my first time using Razer Gold so I am unfamiliar with how reloads exactly work - but from my understanding is as soon as that PIN is entered all funds are credited immediately, please correct me if I am mistaken. There is not a "use funds later" option or something is there?
Am I missing something as far as reloads go using a PIN? Any help is much appreciated.

Hi @roadPowderBluegreat856,
Yes. It's should be credited to your account immediately using the PIN provided.
I highly suggest to purchase Razer Gold via the reload functions instead of third party seller as Razer Gold allows almost all payment channels to reload directly.
@xCryptik
I appreciate the help.
I still do not see how after entering the PIN and getting the red error "PIN already been redeemed" it somehow found a way to work on another user's account almost 13 hours later in the middle of night.
Have you ever heard of this happening? I see you have been here awhile, so I was jw.
I kept asking the support agent how it would be possible and all he Saud was that there could be several ways, but was trying to convince me I had a cybersecurity issue with my email, which is the reason the PIN didn't work. The PIN is not emailed in text form, you are sent a link and have to verify info and then you can see your PIN in the web browser.
It hurts, but I will get over the $250 - what is irritating me though is Razer Support refusing to even look into anything unless there is a police report, and the police reaching out to Razer Support.
I provided all screenshots, receipts, and proof of purchase to show I was the rightful owner of that PIN but they wont lift a finger until I go tell the police a I had a data breach in my gmail account, which I am 99% sure that did not happen.
I don't see how they can even have 3rd parties selling these if neither Razer or Target takes any blame if there is an issue.

Hi @roadPowderBluegreat856,
Unable to comment on that since I am bad at timezone conversion. :confused_:
Razer Gold support team only able to look into the transaction if your reload directly using https://gold.razer.com/
Online third party might not be authorized seller that may have obtained those PIN from unknown sources or might accidentally provide duplicate PIN and many other issues as well.

Yeah I do understand that. What I don't understand is how a PIN can say it is redeemed, then able to work later.
Idk. Frustrating.
I don't see how Razer or third parties like www.target.com have no resposibility if something goes wrong.
*****@RAZER - SUGGESTION - For third party sellers, you should make it so the email they get the PIN sent to also has to match their razer account. Would prevent all the bullshit I see on here:

Also @Razor, you obviously don't get a sh*t about what your customers think of you since you have no presense on either TrustPilot or BBB. Do better jesus

Contact Amazon, get a refund.
Bought two Razer $500 gold cards from Best Buy. Both were invalid. Best Buy states they are not responsible for a refund. Fast card the distributor can not be reached by phone. Razer has several ways to contact them but all appear to roundrobin each other. Finally able to get a ticket via email. But response time is slow while my money was taken quickly. I am hot under the collar. I want a reund or two VALID cards.
Sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having. That's tough man
