I am considering getting the Razer Dock. Among other things, it advertises charging the laptop at 90W, which seems a bit weak compared to the laptop's 230W power supply. What are the experiences with it? Is this only suitable for discharging the battery more slowly or does the whole thing actually charge then. I use a Razer Blade 15, if this is of any interest.

It can charge blade 15 that has power delivery capability, but on light works where nvidia gpu doesn’t work intensively like gaming, on such workload it’ll drain the battery or before that maybe even power throttle that ruins gaming experience.
I can't speak to your situation, as your laptop is waayyyy more powerful than mine. My stock power supply is only 65 watts (I only have an HP Envy x360), so it's an easy task, one would assume, for the dock to keep up in my situation. For you, however, I would think the dock would be seriously lacking. Just my two cents.
