I've been a low spec gamer for a while and I can say from personal experience razor cortex helps a lot. I use to play far cry 3 on my crappy and was getting around 33-35fpS on the game and then with razor I got an increase of about 15-20fps. It really does help. The more ram you have it won't effect as much because it mainly stops non essential process the chew up memory however, I think it's good to use for piece of mind and help when running games that specifically chew memory.

I use Razer Cortex mainly for games like Apex and PUBG, but it works for pretty much any game I’ve installed. It’s helped with smaller indie games too, which was a nice surprise. Overall, if it’s on your PC, Cortex can probably give it a boost.
