I was about to purchase the Razer Blackshrk V2 X when I came across a post claiming that Windows 11 does not support 7.1 surround audio. If this is the truth, I will not purchase the headphones because my computer has really important data.

I dont know where you read this but this is bul… in shorst you have headphones with build in amplituner that proces audio there you can have spatial audio on what ever device even old pc. For Windows spetial audio yes Windows support it even have own it is called Windows sonic, you can also buy dolby atmos for headphones it is subscription service and on what ever headphones you have you. Will have dolby atmos, Razer provide with headphones THX spatial audio that is processed via synapse so to get spatial audio you need have it installed. I hope this answer your qestions.

Because of a forum post on razer insider, I created this post. If you look at the linked file, it states that it is only compatible with Windows 10 64-bit.

Trap and Windows 11 use the same engine as 10. Every app compatibile with Windows 10 will work on 11. Also if you forget Microsoft have own virtual Sound build in Windows 10 and 11. In short is headphones have own Sound Controller build in to the cord it will process the Sound if not this will do app in this case synapse 3 and it will work on Windows 10 and 11. ID you want to use Razer 7.1 Sound app you can install it on the same supportem Systems Windows 10 and 11. You can buy also true 7.1 headphones like tiamat v2 but you need 7.1 Sound card to use it.
Yes, but First, right-click the speaker icon in your taskbar and select “Sounds” from the menu that pops up. (You can also open the Control Panel and click Hardware and Sound > Sound.) In the window that appears, choose the “Playback” tab, then select the surround sound output device you'd like to test from the list

I don't know if Windows 11 supports 7.1 surround sound. But I know that the Linux operating system does. Well, I'm not telling you to change your operating system, especially if you say you have important data stored on your computer. I'm just saying it's possible, I just recently switched to Linux, and I didn't want to do it because I thought it would be a mistake. I just needed a Linux control panel so I could manage my sites. But I was wrong, in many ways this operating system is even better than Windows. But there are disadvantages and pluses everywhere.

It works perfectly on windows 11, I am testing it and there have been no failures so far.
