now that the 3080 is out and we can see what can it do, what do you plans?
I am personally waiting for the 3070 coming from 1070, I think it well priced and will perform very well

I'd wait for AMD 🙂

I wanted to get Nvidia RTX 3080 FE, but all got sold by bunch of scalpers.
purchased Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC because it matches my Gigabyte motherboard

I'm just gonna get a 3070 when its live.

You know what guys! there is a news where non Founders Edition 3080 cards are showing disappointing results from
* Damaged during delivery
* PC crashes when reaching 2 GHz boost

Number of techies have found temporary solution, but that does not mean I am using the full potential of the card that I paid for.

Cancelled all my purchases and seeing alternatives

As much as I'd like to buy an 3080, even with a so much cost in price compared to the 2080TI, my budget will only allow me to get a 3060 (or a 3070 if I cut some corners elsewhere).

But I'm waiting to see what AMD has to offer to decide.
I hope for a "Ryzen" effect in the GPU market.
Yeah there's been issues with crashing on non founders edition rtx 3080s regarding unstable power delivery when reaching higher boost speeds and being manually overclocked. It has something to do with regarding the design and quality of capacitors soldered onto the card. JayzTwoCents has a video explaining the issue.
I would wait for any 3000 series card. MSI has already come out and said they are changing the PCB due to some issues. I am waiting until AMD comes out with their cards and let the price war wage a little. My 2060 Super is playing everything I play at 120fps or higher.

If the 3060 is cheap enough, I would get it to replace my 1060.
Nah, I will just stick to AMD
