Every time I want to play a game with the virtual controller it takes me to the permissions to allow the overlay.

Is there no way of allowing this overlay permission permenantly?

It seems like you are encountering a common issue when using a virtual controller to play games, where you have to grant permission for the overlay every time you launch a game. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to allow this permission permanently as it is a safety feature built into most operating systems.

However, there are a few things you can try to make the process a bit easier. Firstly, you could try disabling the "Fullscreen Optimizations" setting for the game in the properties menu, which may make it easier for the overlay to work without asking for permission each time.

Alternatively, you could try running the game and the controller application as an administrator, which may allow the overlay permission to be granted automatically. However, it's important to note that running applications as an administrator can be risky, so proceed with caution.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

how do you run games as administrator in android ? i know in windows but not android..

also is there any news on adding the option to invert the y axis yet? most old school and decent gamers play fps games with y axis inverted

Running apps as administrator in Android is not really applicable as it is a different operating system than Windows. However, there are certain permissions that you can grant to apps through the Android settings to allow them to access certain functions or resources of the device. As for inverting the Y axis, it really depends on the game you are playing and if the option is available in the game's settings. It is not a feature that can be added system-wide on Android.

it can definitely be added on android as both octopus and mantis are apps that do the same thing as this app both have options to invert the y look axis
