What RAM to buy that will sync with Razer Chroma! | Razer Insider

Hey Guys,

I'm buying my very first PC very soon and i want to know because I cant find any info anywhere! What RAM should I buy that is supported by Razer Chroma?

I was going to go with Corsair Vengeance but they don't sync with chroma, then I was looking at Crucial ballistics ram and sync mystic lighting with chroma but with bad reviews I'm unsure what I should do.

I'm looking for 2 sticks of 8gb at 3600mhz, if someone could help me out that would be great!
Synapse 3.0 is used to setup lighting on Synapse 3.0 dedicated RAZER peripherals only.

Not sure if there is a third party lighting app that syncs its colour co-ordination with RAZER peripherals.

Corsair use iCUE to configure their lighting, but it cannot sync the colour co-ordination with RAZER peripherals.

Btw. What motherboard do you have? If MSI (with MysticLight) you can actually put any MysticLight compatible RAM so it will sync with Chroma.
won't the asrock razer edition motherboard work with any ram rgb?

I have this and for now its complete failure, my Tforce is not detected in synapse, before i had steel legend and I can connect it to synapse using polychrome. In razer edition ram is detected only in very old blitz app from teamgroup, and this app is discontinued. So I have ram with fictional compatibility with Razer Chroma.
They do have those dummy rams that's just led's that you can put into empty ram slots. They have their own software but you might be able to sync the RGB visually in some way. They are not Ram just LEDs that look like ram
You can get a RAM that support AURA sync, and install AURA and AURAconnect, after that, you can sync up all your AURA sync supported device and Razer Chroma. pros: easy to use. cons: you can't control the LEDs individually.

Don't ever go for the the asrock razer edition motherboard

Why is that? It has good reviews and benchmarks but pricewise it is perhaps a bit more than similar class mobos.

I tried getting Aura Connect working last week and it looks like it's not available anymore 😞

just remember before you get new RAM always check if those RAM are supported with your Motherboard, otherwise you cant push its limit or worse scenario its not working properly
Msi and chroma dont play nice nice together ive a msi mobo and chroma, i click chroma connect and the mystic light starts having odd flashes of white and the ram starts to flicker ive never been able to fix it even after clean installs, mystic light is bad news never works properly i have corsair vengeance pro ram, i have use icue because it all just conflicts too much and does not look pretty. I dont know how many other peopl have this problem but this is the case for me.
