7.1 surround sound software closes immediately after starting

Today my 7.1 surround sound software didn't load on startup. Whenever i tried starting it, it immediately closes. Appears for a second in tray and dissapears. No process in task manager. I tried reinstalling but it still does that. I have not made any hardware/software changes since yesterday. My headset is Kraken X Lite, and until today the software was working just fine.
