Barracuda X randomly turning off

I have the auto shutoff set to never in the app. My headset doesn't say "power off" it will just randomly cut audio and lose power, making me hold the power button to get "power on" and it will reconnect. Also tonight I had the mic lose audio and it required me to turn the headset off and on again to get the microphone back working. Is there a driver issue or interference that can cause this or do I need to RMA?
