Basilisk X Hyperspeed DPI Bug

Hi I have recently come across a problem with my mouse where the DPI seems to automatically decrease to a low dpi and the DPI button doesn't do anything anymore. The only way I've found to fix it is to manually change the DPI in the Razer Synapse App. I have tried reinstalling drivers, making sure windows is properly updated and exiting all razer apps but nothing has worked. I have also had this weird bug where my “mouse button 4 (or 5 I don’t know exactly but one of the side buttons)” doesn't work, I normally use it to go back on a page on google but it only works when I hover over the icon for said action and press the button, not anywhere on the page like it should. As you can imagine this gets very annoying, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Having the same issue. Works fine on bluetooth as does the dpi button but on 2.4 it works for about 20 seconds then snaps down to low dpi and the dpi button stops working.

Hi guys,

Try to update the firmware of your device by following the steps here. If that didn’t help, let me know through PM and provide the serial number so I can validate its model and check for other workarounds to help you address the issue. Thanks!

Hello,

Did anyone find a solution to this issue?

I just bought this Razer model, and I have the same issue. When I set the DPI (using the button), the cursor speed decreases on its own after a few seconds, then suddenly increases. Is like the DPI randomly changes. I already discarded: the dirty optical sensor, mouse mat, and firmware version (I got a message that I already have the last version v1.02.00_r2). My problems persist the same on both 2.4G and BT connections. I haven't installed the Synapse software and prefer avoiding excessive software applications. I am running Windows 11.

I will appreciate any feedback; otherwise, I will return it.

Thanks!
