Blackwidow Chroma issue with keys not functioning correctly

Hi, I've had my blackwidow chroma for many years, one of my absolute favorite keyboards. I've recently had a massive issue where 90% of the keys aren't working properly. "W" for example works fine but "4" has to be pressed 5-10 times for it to work, some keys stopped working altogether, the issue is happening with every key, i tried putting it in demo mode and back in normal mode, tried uninstalling synapse 3, uninstalled drivers as well but still the same issue, any ideas? the issue started about a year ago and i just put the keyboard in storage and used another keyboard but I'm trying to fix it now, please help :) thanks

hi, I'm not a specialist but in my humble opinion, in your shoes, I would replace the switches of the faulted keys. I don't know if this keyboard has hot swappable switches or not but if yes You just have to simply remove the key, then switch and replace it should work fine. if it is not hot swappable it is still possible but you would have to unsolder and solder those switches.

BlackWidow switches are not hot-swappable, you need to desolder it first. @Kradel you can try pulling off the keycap, spray some air inside the key, or it you have IPA (100% Isopropyl alcohol) - pour few drops of it into the key, then press it few times, leave it for a few minutes to evaporate, then check if it helped. If not, then you'll need a new switch.
