Blade 15 2022 display issues

My Blade 15 laptop suddenly started having display issues, but I believe the problem is beyond just the display. The screen constantly flickers on and off into black for several seconds. Sometimes it takes a minute for it to happen again but usually happens very often. Each time the black screen goes away, it opens to the lockscreen, which this can’t just be a display issue. It’s making the laptop impossible to use, I’m thinking about factory resetting because I cannot find a solution. I tried the uninstalling and updating the display drivers using the method provided in the Razer website which did not resolve the issue and also resulted in Microsoft Basic Display Adapter being installed instead of the previous driver, so I cannot use 360hz anymore as it is locked at 60hz. Any help is appreciated.
