Bloated Battery - Razer Blade Stealth 13 - Mercury White Model | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hi, I am driven here as I could not find further support on the Razer website as my device is out of warranty.

Recently I noticed that my trackpad was harder and harder to click - didn't bother me at first however now my trackpad is unusable and after tonnes of searching and googling the very probable cause is the battery bulge. Since then it has gotten so bad that I think my laptop is going to explode.

I had since unplugged the device and stopped and retreated it to an area at home free of other fire hazards in case it explodes and starts a fire.

What is the best way to have this rectified and/or disposed of? It is a shame as the device was bought less than 2 years ago and as usual, issues often surface right after the warranty ends. This seems to be a common issue as there more I search the more I Razer laptop owners also experiencing the same issue.

Please help.

Regards,

Little lost soul
Hi meteoright,

No worries, I can help you start a case for a battery replacement/repair. It's also right to remove the battery or refrain from using the laptop to avoid any possible damage caused by a bloated battery. Please PM me the serial number, and photos showing the battery for documentation purposes to help me kickstart a case. Thank you!
