Bought the RAZER KRAKEN KITTY V2 not eligible to receive a 7.1 Surround Sound activation code?

Bought the new Razer Kraken Kitty v2. It is adverstised as the following: 

  • What is the audio system used in the Razer Kraken Kitty V2?

    The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 supports 7.1 Surround Sound on Windows 10 64-bit, which provides accurate positional sound to heighten your game awareness.

Registered the product in Razer Id. Never got the activation code. Also, when I put in my serial number, the following message appeared: “ Your Razer device is not eligible to receive a 7.1 Surround Sound activation code. Please refer to 7.1 Surround Sound System For Gaming Headset for eligible products.”

 

Please give me the activation code or I am returning this. Or is this just false advertisement?
