[FIXED] Razer Lancehead logical buttons 4+5 not working

The logical mouse buttons 4 and 5 stopped working sometime in the last two days. If I assign another function to the physical buttons on the side of the mouse, they work fine. If I assign 'mouse button 4' to the right mouse button, it stops working. So the mouse simply stopped generating the events for 'mouse button 4' (and 5). Synapse is up to date. Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

    nvm. problem went away by itself after a few more hours
