Hello,
I am using Razer Blade 15”- mid 2019- Base model. I’m trying to connect it to LG monitor and trying to turn on G-sync on my laptop, but I don’t have that option available.
- I tried looking into BIOS setup menu so I can change GPU from integral intel graphics to descrete Nvidia graphics, but there is no mention of GPU in the menu.
- I tried using different configuration but I can’t seem to get the Advance Optimus option available in Nvidia contreol panel.
- I reached out to Nvidia tech. Support. they asked few file sfrom me and ended up saying that I need to reach out to my laptop manufacturer
- Few things that should appear in my Nvidia Control panel is not there; for example: “Manage Display mode” which allows me to choose which GPU to run my display on and “Display settings” which has G-sync option as sub-setting. Please try seaching it on Google and you’ll know what I’m talking about. I tried many thing that I find online and as Nvidia Tech Support suggested me.
I saw one thread here (Razer Insider-Support Forums) mentioning the same thing as me, maybe using different series GPU (RTX series) and using external monitor. But it had only one reply and I couldn’t see the conclusion as it was changed to private conversation.
I’m using LG 32” gaming monitor which is G-sync compatible.
I play so many games on Blade 15 and I get very nice FPS but once I start connecting this monitor the FPS dropped significantly. I may need to sell the monitor or laptop if this doesn’t work out well.
Is there any way to enable the G-sync option in the laptop I’m using? if there is please let me know.
