How to set color to static on blackwidow V4 at boot or shutdown.

I just got a blackwidow V4, nice keyboard nice key’s feels good.

The only very annoying thing on the keyboard i cannot fix and need to be fixed is

that it seems to fall back to some color cycle pattern when  the synapse software is not running.

It means when you turn the pc on instead of a nice visible readable static color you get all different colors what makes it hard to work with.

How can i tell the keyboard to always use static color i have set until synapse or a program tells todo something else ? Means as soon synapse shutdown. the keyboard need to fallback to static color. Why is this not default ?

Latest firmware is in, and i get the feeling that after that the problems started.

The simpel thing that i cannot find is how to set the keyboard so it use a static light profile that is  made in synapse and stored on the keyboard at power up.

It cant be hard to program the firmware to use fn + ctrl + 2 (static mode with white light) when the keyboard is powered up instead of the spectrum cycling it uses now.

It would eb nice if you can set your own default profile it always use to fall back to. But so far not figured out how.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

The colour cycling is so distracting it’s making me angry and hate this keyboard. Especially since right now the new version of chroma app is not working and the colours can’t be fixed at all. Maybe a reboot will fix it but I don’t have want to reboot right now as I’m in the middle of a bunch of open work.

@razer this frustrating default is the reason I won’t be buying another razer keyboard again, unless you please please fix it.

Not possible.

Chroma settings are not stored into onboard memory unfortunately.
