I just bought Razer Barracuda X but they have bad connection with PC


Hey i just bought Razer Barracuda X wireless headset but they dont work properly with my PC. I did all by the manual. If i connect them with mobilephone then they work brilliant but when im connected with PC then sound constantly vanqiushes and then come back like some bad connection. Some times silence is up to 30 sec but usually it just intermittent. I updated all drivers up to date. I connected my dongle but it seems that dont give any effect.

 

Help please.

I used to have the Barracuda X for my Win11 PC. I noticed the same issues. I could figure out that WIn11+ the for Win 10 “optimized” headset-software “7.1 Surround” is not good. 

 

You can change in the Windows settings for this headset a few things to improve the stability (official razer support says to do the oposite things) but as consequence you will have a very high cpu usage in idle.

Thats why I’ve changed to the Barracuda Pro…. 

 

Edit: 

And I noticed that using the usb-c extension cord causes connection-issues. Connecting the dongle directly reduces some issues a little bit.

This is a terrible device and lots of people have these issues, Razer doesn’t care (as can be seen by how few of these repeated threads are responded to).

 

Get rid of them and never buy Razer again.
