I need a new battery for Razer Blade 16 (2023) ... Is it available in Razer online store!

Can a bad/damaged battery cause cpu to overheat!!!

Long story short, I have a serious overheating issue; constant thermal throttling, the CPU package temperature reaches 100°C and stays there, while the GPU is at 75-85°C range. The clock speed is stuck at 400 MHz ! The laptop is unusable and won’t last 1 hour on battery!

So I took a leap of faith and opened the case for first time to repaste cpu/gpu I noticed the condition of the battery, it looks terrible for a new laptop! I’m thinking of replacing it with original Razer battery as a last resort to overcome the heating issue!

 

Btw, I’ve tried repasting with PTM7950 and recently with Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme, but neither worked. I live outside the US and we don’t have a Razer store!

Razer… I would appreciate it if you can help me with a battery replacement or direct me to an official/certified online Razer battery seller!

    Razer being the horrible company that they are won’t sell you parts even that is illegal under new EU law..

    Contact them to say No and send us the device for repair  .

    I’d try to convince them to send battery only. Saw few people on reddit went this way, and they get the battery for self replace.

    But if you’ve repasted it and still no luck - then maybe there’s something wrong with vapor chamber - I’d consider sent them whole laptop, because new battery won’t help here as laptop is still overheating...
