I tried to register my headset but its already registered

Hi!
I bought a headset on january 14 this year and when i tried to register it to use 7.1 surround sound, it showed that its already registered. i dont know how it happend since its a new product, opened this week. it came in a package that was not open. is it possible that someone already registered it before me? how can i get the activation code now? what should i do in this scenerio?

There’s a high chance that you have purchased a fake headset. I’ll double-check it just to be sure. Please send me a PM along with its serial number so I can validate and check the registration.
