Is my v2 controller broken?

I've had my Razor kishi V2 since Feb 2023 and it's stopped working. When I plug it into my phone, ita recognised very briefly and then the light goes out and doesn't work. Could this be anything to do with firmware? Hoping I can avoid having to go through the faff or a return under warranty. Thanks in advance
