Leviathan v2 is silent for a second when playing from new audio sources

Hello!

I have a Leviathan v2 with subwoofer connected to the computer by USB-C. When playback begins, there is often about a second of silence before the audio kicks in. When it does start playing, it is in sync. If I stop playback and start it again, playback is typically immediate. If I stop playback for a minute or two and then start it again, there is a fresh delay of a second or so before the sound starts in sync.

By contrast, if I disconnect the Leviathan sound bar and use the onboard Realtek audio to analog speakers, there is never a playback issue. It is only through the Leviathan v2.

Common places where I hear this would be in YouTube videos, Discord join / disconnect sounds in voice channels, and other random stuff that Windows might play.

Thoughts on this?

More info:

Alienware | Windows 11 | 32GB Memory | tons of free space | Windows install is fresh | Firmware for the Leviathan is current | Synapse v3 or v4 makes no difference.

Oh hey, one more thing! This only seems to happen over USB. The other possible connection is Bluetooth and when I have it connected that way, there is no delay. Of course, over Bluetooth all sound lags behind the gameplay by just a little bit and I really can’t use it that way.

Update: I solved this problem on my own. I was on the latest version of Synapse v3. I  upgraded to Synapse v4 and Chroma. So far, the delay has been fully resolved. No more silence at the beginning of playback.
