Is there a way to connect the Leviathan V2 PRO to an Xbox Series X?
Well hopefully after xbox series s/x leave beta and new software installed it will work connected to USB or Bluetooth option maybe. The only other option is plug into TV or monitor.
I found it work great plug into TV for me.
Leave beta?
Thanks--appreciate the reply!
I’m running a LG Monitor with USB C connection. I don’t have any issues with the Leviathan with USB A to USB-C (Mac or Windows); but, it doesn’t seem to register the Xbox HDMI (also connected to the Monitor as well--internal hub).
I have seen some dongle/external Bluetooth (BT) Options for the XboxSx--but, runs with an Optical Cable (from the Xbox to the BT Transceiver). Assume that you could use the BT connection on the Leviathan and connect that way. Not sure what degradation occurs from the Optical line. Might give this option a shot.
Well I check monitors settings for audio lots have options for different audio options. It does not audio detect and setup. I also check firmware and drivers update. But mostly firmware updates for both monitors and razer sound bar. only problem I seen with optical is over version only supports 5.1 surround sound. But first check monitor settings for hdmi and audio.
Hi I just got the leviathan V2 and I can connect it to my LG tv, but the sound doesn’t come out, and I have the usb plugged into the tv USB port and that doesn’t work either. I had the original leviathan and it stopped working but it worked with the optical out connection. Why does this V2 not work via Bluetooth even though it recognizes the v2 via bluetooth devices connected. Seems strange, anyone understand any of this? I have an Xbox series X so I’m just trying to get it to play the audio. Appreciate the help.
Rockstar,
I’m having the same issues with the Xbox Series X: can’t get it to work with my Leviathan V2 Pro. So far, I have not found a workable solution and have to run two separate speaker systems: one for the LG monitor’s USB-C (Leviathan V2 Pro) and another for the Xbox HDMI (connected via headphones port on the LG monitor). There are some good YouTube videos that discuss connected a Bluetooth (BT) transceiver to external speakers (in this case Leviathan V2 Pro). Haven’t tried that yet--but, will eventually.
I just remember having a problem with PC and xbox not playing sound through monitor. But I found a setting under hdmi or something that would allow audio on a hdmi cable to be detected.
I’ve troubleshot to no end: Swapped HDMI and USB cables (both 2.0/3.0), Power Cycled both systems after connecting--changed out settings on the Monitor. I think the bluetooth option will be best until Razer pushes out an update (which probably won’t happen until more people purchase and raise the issue).
