Hi all,



Long story short, my main speakers aren't working after an update to Synapse. Last thing before bed one night they were fine, computer on next day.. it updates then they don't work. In fact, Synapse updating was the only thing that happened on the computer between it working and not working. Furthermore I've had issues similar to this in the past after a Synapse update. All signs point to this update and Synapse fiddling with the sound settings. Is this a known issue or is there a fix?



I have tried:



Reinstalling speaker drivers (no rollback available)

Uninstalling and installing the hardware

Using a different audio jack (one on front and one on back of tower)

Different cables

All other output devices (in the past the speakers changed from one output name to another... I know..)



The headphones still work. The computer says sound is being played however no actual sound come out from speakers.



I'm at a complete loss. Any help is appreciated.
