Monster smart device issue

trying to get a Monster smart device blm7-2014-rgb to work with synapse. I seem to be able to get it to connect to wifi, but synapse doesn't seem to see it, but has a entry showing monster smart is being used. the icon simply says unreachable. their troubleshooting says it's a problem with razer, not them.

    I seem to have made it up to getting the device blm7-2014-rgb to no longer say unreachable, and shows up in studio, It acts like it accepts changes, but it does NOT show those light changes on the device itself. HELP!!
