i checked support page none of the stuff listed worked, check online just ppl QQing. out of warrenty range so i figured fuck it ill open it up and take a peak.
What i found was that the metal retaining spring used to adjust the scroll wheels spin speed was coating the inside with rubbed of metal tarnish. I cleaned the inside of the wheel with a qtip and isoprpyl rubbing alcohol. worked 98% better, carefully cleaned wheel reader heads good as new.
TLDR coat that retaining clip in something that will prevent shiny metal tarnish rubbing off, or include cleaning instructions that are easy to find. There are posts all over reddit, half the people in discord i know say razer products are shit because they have had this exact same issue and couldn't figure out how to fix it.
