muffled mic on the hammer TWS pro

so i been rocking the hammerhead TWS  pro since they came out, got a refurbished replacement when they fell out of my hoodie on my motorcycle and lost them on the side of the road… my refurbished pair has a really muffled mic, when i take calls on it with the right ear bud in, people tell me that i sound like i am in the ocean. the right earbud looks brand new, and i have no idea what i can do to clean the mic, i used a little isoprop alcohol and a microfiber rag to try and clean it, but it still sounds muffled as heck.

 

any tips or tricks i can try? Thanks!

    Where did the refurbished replacement come from? By the way, please try to update its firmware by following the steps below:

    1. Connect the earbuds to your device that has the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless app installed.
    2. Open the app and wait for it to connect to your earbuds.
    3. Tap the firmware update notification on the main screen.
    4. Follow the update instructions.

    If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other workarounds.
