So I’ve been using this mouse for the last 2-3 years now and I’ve noticed that on the 12 button side panel my 4 key is having problems.
Sometimes I will notice that when pressing it there is some kind of dead spot where when fully pressed the key will just not respond, but if moved slightly in one direction or another the press will register. So I came to the support page on a similar problem where it tells you to clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol, I did this and still the problem persists. I’m assuming that there is some problem with the button itself be it the contact or the switch itself.
I see on the website that you cannot buy replacements straight from Razer and I feel like buying a used side panel is counter productive since it might also have the same problem or will likely in the future. If anyone has had this problem and has a solution I’d would be forever grateful. The mouse itself works flawlessly and having to replace the entire unit that costs almost $200 just because a button on my side panel is having problems is ludicrous.
