My razer nage trinity side panel buttons stop working randomly after system updates, this always last until either another windows update or bois update happens to fix the issue. Its been the 1, 2 and 3 buttons on the circular panel almost everytime. Ive tried deleting drivers and restarting but that doesnt work. This also happens on some battle.net updates, but with those the mouse only stops working for their games. There arent many mice with that configuration anymore, and i would really like to not have to switch brands to get one.

i got this exact same problem too, granted i havent used my naga trinity for 10 months and assumed it would be out of date etc. the mouse pointer works but the RGB colours were not lit-up and the side buttons were not working also.
*POTENTIAL FIX - Download and update to the latest Razer Synapse 4, once done it started to automatically update my mouse, (restart computer once downloaded). hope that helps.
*EDIT - 100% works, after updating to razer synapse 4 and restarting the computer remove the side button panel and reconnect it, lights pinged on right away. i also went into the setting cog (top right) and clicked ‘’migrate profile’’.
I downloaded Synapse 4 and they still don’t work. Neither the lighting. IT IS UTTERLY FRUSTRATING! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!
