Naga v2 Hyperspeed profile switching | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi all, I’ve been on a look out for a replacement for my Logitech G604 and Naga v2 Hyperspeed was checking out all the boxes, like:

all plastic shell - check

RUBBERED freescroll - check

replaceable batteries - check

over 6 programmable side buttons - check

wirelessness - check

tilt clicking scroll wheel - check

(all of the above are deal breakers, with the exception of the RUBBERED freescroll, I can settle with a non rubbered freescrool 😀)

But one thing seems to be missing and unfortunately it’s a deal breaker for me, and of course I’m talking about profile switching. For a mouse that has that many programmable buttons, it’s a shame that a user cannot switch multiple profiles on the fly. User needs at the very least two profiles, one would be productivity, and another would be game mode. Of course I know that the mouse in question has a feature named Hypershift, but unfortunately it would be a nightmare to try and play a videogame for an hour having to click the hypershift button half of the time that I use the mouse.

Anyway, I’d really like to find out that I was wrong, and that I actually can switch the profiles on this mouse somehow, and I just misunderstood what I found out about this mouse, so I’m calling out to support to please help me clarify this issue, if I can or can’t switch between multiple different profiles if I use the Naga v2 Hyperspeed.
