Need CMOS battery for RZ09-0369BE22
Hey,
I need a CMOS battery for a RZ09-0369BE22 laptop. If my laptop has been off for more than 5 minutes, it does a full hardware check on boot, and does not maintain system time. As near as I can tell the connection is proprietary. Does anyone have any leads onto this very specific battery?
ps: yes I can solder a new battery onto the old lead. That is the backup plan.
You will need to take the back off and confirm, but my Google search found an image of what I suspect is your motherboard. Looks like a standard ML1220 3.0V CMOS battery. I've circled it in the attached image. Please check first, as Google may be wrong!
Sadly that is the wrong connector. Fortunately, this is the right connector, but the wrong size. I have ordered one and if I can make the little battery fit I should be good. It is just of odd that so many of these batteries seem to fail in the Razer laptops. I have had servers running for 8 years not needing a replacement. It's just a simple battery.
