performance tabs in synapse are confusing

I just bought a razer blade 15 and I dont really unterstand the persormance tab in synapse. I want to create a few settings for various tasks, all that rgb stuff ist not really interesting to me, I don t need it. I want to have settings like " quiet- no demanding tasks, internet research and typing", "Work- modelling and creative work. preferably in a quiet enviroment" and "heavy performance- rendering with cpu and/or GPU. can get noisy) so basically I don t understand the different tabs in performance. for example the custom tab, I can choose how my Watt (and therefore performance..?) the cpu and gpu are getting., right? But what happens if I the type of work I am doing is too demanding for that setting? is it overheating, lagging or even crashing? Isn t the custom fan setting redundant if I can set in to auto? If i set it on super low and the tasks are demanding, isn t the app crashing//damaging the hardware? Why would i ever need to run my fan on max speed the whooole time? Whats the difference between quiet mode and custom with everything set on low? Its rather confusing, if anybody could enlighten me, i would really appreciate it. Or do you even have some suggestions for the modes I want to create?
