plug in problem

Hi...I just got today the razer kishi and I have a problem. The problem is when I plug my phone.i have an s 22 ultra and when I plug in, it's OK but the controller doesn't work, if I take the rubber out where the type C, the controller works. What should I do? If I let the 2 rubber parts in the controler the phone fits perfectly, but it doesn't work, and if I take out the rubber from the type c, the controller works
