Razer 14 2021 - External monitor question and Ethernet question

2021 Razer Blade 14” Rz09-0370.  2 different questions

1 - Trying to connect to internet via Ethernet to USB A port on laptop (with appropriate adapter.  Can this be done (will the laptop accept the hi speed internet via USB A) ?

2 - Can I connect an external monitor (Dell S3422DWG) to the laptop using a DisplayPort to USB C cable (I think I can)?  Monitor has a higher refresh rate using DP input than the HDMI input (144Hz vs 100Hz).  Would the DP to USB C (if it is possible) maintain that higher refresh rate?
