so i've got the Razer Barracuda Pro a few weeks ago
Since then there's a lot of trouble wiht it
First of all: Razer Synapes and Fireware are the latest update for sure, as well on my Win 11

when i start my pc, Razer Barracuda Pro appears and disappears wihtin milliseconds, switching from Razer Barracuda Pro to other sources (just like it turns on and off all the time)

Sometimes i can fix it when trouble shooting the Windows Sound options, sometimes i have to restart my PC 5 times until it fixes itself. Horrible circumstances as i can't use it in this way

btw, sometimes Synapes tells me to update to the latest Firmware for the Barracuda Pro, within last month it's been 5 times ( for sure it was 5 times the same file and the Setup told me it is not necessary to install the firmware...)

C'mon guys please do something, playing without Sound is really annoying!

i'm still with the same issue around, but does not seems that anyone here cares aight?

I’m having issues with the Barracuda Pro on Win 11 myself. Random disconnects - and if the headset is showing up in synapse, the battery level indicator in Synapse jumps from 100 % to 0 %. Synapse randomly says I have to update the firmware, but the headset is up to date with the latest firmware.

Guess I’ll have to go back to my Blackshark Pro v2...

Hi there,  i am also having issues with my Razer Barracuda Pro. I can see it in my output audio devices but when i choose it , it doesn't work; as if it is not connected. It keeps blinking blue and then it turns off by itself before even pairing. Also, synapse 3 is not detecting it. Anyone knows what might be the issue?!

I am also having issues with the barracuda pro headset as well similar issues with the firmware update,randomly telling me that there is a firmware update available then you run the application and it tells you the firmware is up to date.I only got my headset 2 days ago and right from the beginning it has been issues.The main issue that i am having is when you launch synapse the THX Spacial modes arent available and no matter what you do after many uninstall and reinstalls of synapse it is still the same.Mean come on guys this is a very expensive headset,the least you can do is make sure that it actually works properly.Again to add salt to wounds,when i plug up my older Nari Ultimate headset everything works perfectly No Issues at all.So is it a hardware or a software issue that we all have here.That is very questionable indeed.Good thing that i bought them from amazon as if they are faulty,simple they are going back.I’m not pating in excess of £200 for something that simply doesnt work properly.

Another user on reddit has the same issue as me as well and he said that a previous version of synapse and they were working perfectly,but 1.You cant find or even install an older version of synapse as the minute you power up the barracuda pros it wants to update synapse or nothing works.

Honestly these headphones sound at the moment like glorified stereo,very dissapointed indeed.

Think its time for a hardware refresh.Time to move on to companies that care and help you get things resolved,not given the run around.

 

I have the regular Barracuda non pro and while im gaming I get random 3 to 5 second sound drop offs.. I dont know if its the dongle disconnecting or not as it happens to fast.. I have no clue what to try as I have tried everything that was suggested.. It was not always like this so im curious if its a bad dongle but you cant buy a new one because they are always sold out on their website.. How ignorant to not have these in stock.. Oh well I guess
