So I just bought these Barracuda X yesterday and I love everything about them. Except for the fact that whenever there’s no audio playing, I hear this low noise. Kinda sounds like a far away helicopter. I don’t know. When I watch youtube, play music or any other kind of audio, it stops but as soon as I pause the noise comes back. The headset is connected via 2.4 with USB-C dongle to my Laptop. When using Bluetooth I don’t have this issue but that’s not what I want. I want 7.1 surround sound via 2.4Ghz connection. But I can’t leave my headset on because of this annoying sound. If I can’t fix this issue, I will just return them. I appreciate any help.

I think I understand what you’re referring to. I only have this issue if the volume is set to max in my headset and no sound is coming from the PC, so for me it’s as easy as not having the volume turned to max… try to control the volume level from the PC directly without setting your headset volume to max
Yeah just bought razer barracuda x, same problem only when the volume wheel is at max. If you raise the volume from source (ps5, pc in my case) and regulate the volume wheel, you'll have no problem.
Hi guys, I have exactly the same problem. Whether on the laptop or on the PC. Even on my smartphone I get this helicopter noise. And it doesn't matter whether it's connected via 2.4 or bluetoth. Is there a solution for this?
