razer barracuda x not playing any sound

I use the usb-c dongle to connect my headset to my pc, since bluetooth hasn't worked since day one. Worked fine for five days after buying it, then completely stopped. The headset still connects to my pc, but it plays no sound. Aux doesn't work either. The microphone still works fine. The headset doesn't even give the "power on" or "power off" message when I turn it on or off. I tried using the firmware updater, but when I plugged in the dongle it didn't show up as connected. If the dongle doesn't work, then why does the mic on the headset still work? I don't know what to do because this is my only headset and it broke in less than a week after buying. What should I do?
