Razer Basilisk v2 Scroll Wheel not clicking

Hi there, since a couple days I'm having issues with the scroll wheel not working as intended. Previously it was setup to be used as a left-click when pressing the scroll wheel. But right now nothing happens when I press the wheel. I did not make any changes. I already tried configuring it inside synapse but not sure if that's correct. Because I somehow can't "configure" the left click, even tho the left click on the mouse works as supposed to. Already have the latest firmware.

    So even with the default settings if you go to this mouse tester app: https://www.onlinemictest.com/mouse-test/ and press the scroll button nothing happens? If yes, did you tried your mouse on other PC without Synapse installed?

    no, i was just saying i havent seen anyone else with the same problems that you are having or that can help with them

    I went to the site but pressing the scroll button doesnt do anything. All the other buttons work as they should. Here is the funny thing. In the meantime there was a short period where it worked without issues. Then it didnt again. It likely seems to be a mechanical issue as I'm noticing that when I press the button hard and for a bit longer that it clicks (but only sporadically).
