Razer BlackShark V2 Have Zero Bass, Sound Horrible

As the title says, attached my dxdiag (EDIT: scratch that, this forum doesn't allow txt file attachments). I got these to replace a set of Logitech headphones and was initially excited when using them but I'm on day two or three and they have absolutely no bass of any kind.

This is the version which comes with the USB DAC. I'm on win10.

The sound is awful and tinny and piercing. Music and games sound like ass.

I can turn the bass boost and crank it to 100% and it has absolutely no effect. I saw that the DAC added three sound devices:
Speakers (Razer USB Sound Card)
Speakers (THX Spatial Audio)
Speakers (THX Audio)

The first, Razer USB Sound Card, sounds the best but only because it's forced into stereo mode and configuring it as 7.1 isn't even an option (wtf?).

I jumped into the THX Spatial Audio's properties and tried adjusting the bass to all kinds of freqs with the 24db boost. Nothing made any difference whatsoever.

Anyone have any suggestions? I was trying to play War Thunder with them but it sounded like it was in a tin can and even at a lower volume it was still hurting my ears.

I just got the V2 today. I play neverwinter and having a similar problem as you. Additionally the audio is overly bright. I tried auto and manual modes switching between gaming and movie. I've tried adjusting the EQ mixer. But they don't fix the problem at all. Feeling very disappointed after reading and hearing all the fantastic things about Razer. I hope someone from Razer will respond on how to fix this. Else I'm thinking of returning it.

Hello , the sound bass the (problem)  its in Razer Synapse  - Enhancement -  Voice Clarity should be off if its on this is the problem

You amazing man! I just found this through google, I thought my headset was broken. Voice clarity completely removes bass and makes everything sound tinny.

I finally got my Blackshark v2 to a point I can live with and today i got an update and all the bass is gone. Yes the voice clarity is off. I’ve had it with these freakin things!!
